'SHARE THE BURDEN 5' STARTS ON NOVEMBER 1

Another cycle of campaign SHARE THE BURDEN starts on November 1.

All the households can join the campaign, providing they owe an electricity-related debt irrespective of its amount, as well as households whose existing agreements expire, those that were concluded in September, October, November and December of 2015 as part of the campaign SHARE THE BURDEN 3. The campaign is going to last until December 31.

Households will have an opportunity to repay their electricity-related debt, irrespective of the amount thereof, in 22 fixed monthly instalments of €20 each (concerning the amount of electricity-related debt higher than €440), without participation, providing the last three bills are settled. As far as the amount of debt not higher than €440 is concerned, the number of instalments will be defined by dividing the amount of debt by €20.

Customers who join the campaign until November 10th should have their July, August and September electricity bills settled, and their October bill should be settled by the end of November. Customers who join the campaign after November 10th should have all their four electricity bills settled in order to join the campaign.

Default interest will not be calculated since the moment of signing the agreement as well as during regular settlement of liabilities based on the signed agreement. In order for the debt settlement agreement to remain into force, an instalment of €20 should be settled every month as well as the ongoing electricity bill.

The campaign can be joined by households disconnected from the distribution network, as well as by households who want to reschedule their already signed electricity-related debt settlement agreement. We want to mention that households will also have to sign the supply agreement, unless they have already done so.

So far, 61.299 households have used an opportunity offered by the campaign Share the Burden. 18.481 debt settlement agreements has currently been in place, and even 5.241 households fully settled their electricity-related debt based on this campaign and started to repay their electricity consumption on a regular basis. The campaign has, among others, contributed to stop the tendency of increase in the amount of electricity debt owed by households.
